Cathedral, Palace and Hearth

February 2019

Benjamin Bagby, performing

his famous version of Beowulf

This February, the Ancient Music Society of Victoria was proud to be partnering with the Medieval Studies Program of the University of Victoria, to present a day-long Conference on Medieval Music.

As a follow-up to the conference, internationally acclaimed performer and scholar, Benjamin Bagby and four local ensembles presented a concert of medieval music of different styles and periods.

Thanks to all who came out, to the volunteers who helped, and to the CRD Arts and Cultural Support Services, who sponsored the concert
